Agad ("we", "us") helps job seekers on onlinejobs.ph apply faster by watching for matching jobs and emailing a ready-to-paste application to your own inbox. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: omharregidor@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Google account information — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier, to create and identify your account.
- Gmail authorization — if you connect Gmail, we receive an OAuth token
for the
gmail.sendpermission. It is stored encrypted at rest and used only to send email to your own inbox (see below). - Profile you provide — your name, the type of job you want, a standard subject line, and a standard message.
- Job keywords you add for us to watch.
- Operational records and logs — which public job postings we matched for you and whether an application email was sent, plus basic operational logs (such as the keywords searched and errors) to run and debug the service. We never log your OAuth tokens or the contents of your messages.
How we use your information, and Gmail access
We request the gmail.send permission for a single purpose: to send
you your own tailored job application, to your own email address, so it is
ready when you apply. We send only to you — we do not email employers or anyone else on your
behalf.
We never read, download, list, modify, or delete any of your existing emails. We request only the send permission; we do not request any Gmail read or modify scope.
We may also email you from our own address about your account, for example to tell you that your Gmail connection has ended and needs reconnecting. These are service messages only, never marketing, and they do not use your Gmail.
We use your other information to watch onlinejobs.ph for jobs matching your keywords and to generate a tailored application from your profile and the public job posting.
Third parties we share data with
- Google — Sign in with Google (identity) and the Gmail API (sending).
- Google Gemini (AI) — to generate the tailored application text, we send the public job description and your profile fields to Google's Gemini API. If no AI is configured, a non-AI fallback uses your standard message as-is.
- onlinejobs.ph — we read public job postings. We do not log in to, or submit applications on, onlinejobs.ph on your behalf.
- Hosting infrastructure used to run the service.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, use it to train machine learning or AI models, or use it for credit or lending decisions. We do not allow humans to read your private data except as needed to operate the service, with your consent, or to comply with the law.
Limited Use of Google user data
Agad's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (opens in a new tab), including the Limited Use requirements.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Disconnecting Gmail revokes the token at Google (best-effort) and deletes the stored credential. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing omharregidor@gmail.com; on deletion we remove your profile, keywords, OAuth tokens, and job-alert records.
Security
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 envelope encryption. We never see or store a Gmail password — access is via Sign in with Google and OAuth only.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above.
